Richmond, Virginia has another four-piece band to contend with. Under Attack plays dark, brutal hardcore, as the band describes in a piece over at No Echo. The lyrics fit the description: “drained my will to live” and “I just want a reason to not slice these wrists” are two lyrics from the band’s demo, released this year by Vinyl Conflict.
The guys that play in the band should be of interest to fans of that kind of music, including Dave Witte (who D.U. has written about before) and Jason Hodges (we’ve written about him before too), but all four of them are good at playing it. They performed in Washington, DC recently and photos are below.
