Total Invasion emerges from the “Invasion Zone”

We’re not well versed with slam around here, but we do know that it’s important to have a sense of humor if you’re going to play in a slam band. On Invasion Zone, the New York band Total Invasion demonstrates that.

D.U. likes the descriptive phrase “deviant grooves” in the EP’s press release, in which the label tags the band (not to be confused with Total Invasion from Canada) as brutal death metal.

Notable for us, the band features Ryan Jones (who figured into our interview with Pyrrhon) and John Sepa (of Congenital Death).
