Here’s the Disposable Underground Blog Newsletter for this week: July 30, 2018

Hello! Welcome back to the Disposable Underground newsletter. Here’s what’s new at the blog this week.

Pebblemag.com has tips for a plastic-free festival for a person going to one of those weekend-long music fests. That website is way into reducing plastic in our lives, and it’s cool that they bring a bit of music into its mix too.

I’ve talked about Voivod before in an earlier newsletter, and more than once on the blog, because Voivod is one of my favorite bands. The guys have a new album coming out soon. Judging by the music video that’s come out to promote it, the record’s going to be great.

The featured video this week is more random than usual. I’ve put a couple of jazz performance clips on the blog YouTube Channel, and this is one of them, taken from one of the AGU Fall Meetings

Now playing: A recurring theme in HBO’s miniseries Sharp Objects is the main character playing tunes on her phone. The series is still running but a soundtrack is already up on Spotify.

We’ll have more info on what’s new next time. Thanks a lot!
