Disposable Newsletter, August 27, 2018

Welcome back to the Disposable Underground newsletter. Here’s what’s new at the blog this week.

Pearl Jam is stirring the pot again, this time with a poster for a show the band played this month. Lots of Donald Trump supporters took the poster’s artwork as disrespectful, to say the least. I’ve laid out the situation briefly at the blog.

PledgeMusic, the online marketplace where bands and labels place special offers, has a new vinyl store. Vinyl hounds might find records of interest there.

For a little while I was interviewing musicians about their gear for Clrvynt.com, and here’s a third piece the site ran: about Jake Cregger, the drummer that plays in more than a few bands (but don’t they all).

Here’s the first piece I shared, and then another one last time on Chepang. More links next time!

The featured video at the blog this week is of Hellbear. This band broke up a while back, but I saw the singer in Richmond this month and was reminded that his band was cool. I wrote about the Hellbear EP a few years back at the blog.

We’ll have more info on what’s new next time. Thanks a lot!
