Scenes of Nordic swordplay and bloodshed pair well with metal (just ask Unleashed, to name one band), and Nordic folk music is also popular with some metalheads. With the film The Northman, you get both. Added bonus: Björk appears in it.
Back Lot Music released the original soundtrack to The Northman on digital formats in April, and Sacred Bones is handling the vinyl version. Limited edition, colored vinyl, extras—the works, with an even-more-limited edition containing a mixtape.
It sounds great, so give it a spin. The vinyl is up for preorder now and is coming out on July 22, 2022.
