Interesting Times Gang is the solo project of Ian Miller from Kowloon Walled City, Less Art, Stangelight, and other bands, and he’s put out a new five-song EP, Are We OK. Like the last full-length album, Beats, No Rhymes, No Life, the songs are wide-ranging and full of samples and cool noises.
The standout song is the title track. Check out the fun music video for it here:
The rest of the EP doesn’t quite sound like the above, but the songs, like the last album, are another entertaining mix of different, hip electronic influences that add up to a whole.
D.U. thinks the last album is better, but the new EP is still recommended. Listen to Are We OK on streaming services or pick it up on Bandcamp.
