Sepultura premieres music video for “Guardians of Earth” in ecological edition of Sepulquarta

We’ve been on a Sepultura kick at D.U. HQ lately, and so were delighted when the band announced they were doing a special “ecological” edition of their Sepulquarta series that they do every Wednesday on YouTube.

This past Wednesday, September 16, the band premiered a music video for the track “Guardians of Earth” from the latest album, Quadra:

The Sepulquarta sessions have a Q&A with invited guests every week, but this past Wednesday the band held two. The first one was with Carolina Castro of the environmental group Sea Shepherd and Mitch Anderson of Amazon Frontlines (the latter collaborated with Sepultura on the “Guardians of Earth” video):

The second Q&A was in Portuguese with André Trigueiro, a Brazilian journalist who covers ecological and ambiental issues:

For the “storyteller” segment, another regular feature of Sepulquarta, the band spoke in Portuguese to the director of the Sepultura Endurance documentary, Otavio Juliano. This segment includes a 2011 live clip of Sepultura playing at the “Concerto em prol do pau-brasil” (or “Concert for the Benefit of Brazilwood”) with the Orquestra Experimental de Repertório.

And there you have it. Check out previous editions of Sepulquarta on YouTube.
