A new Music Industry Connection newsletter noted that RIAA (the Recording Industry Association of America) has released a new report on music industry sales. Interesting bits highlighted in the newsletter include stats such as vinyl sales increasing 8 percent from 2017, CD sales dropping 34 percent, and 75 percent of the industry’s total revenue was from streaming subscriptions.
