With a mix of noise rock and soundscapes, the Baltimore band Mast Year has a wallop of a record with Knife.
The production is dirty (some might say it’s underproduced), the songs are vicious, and the lyrics paint pictures and communicate moods. The tunes, as well as the vocals, deliver variety as well.
