Germans have figured out how to attend live concerts: in their cars

Take an old-style drive-in and add live music. That’s what at least two towns in Germany have figured out to have live music events while practicing social distancing. Euronews.com reported that Cologne band Brings played in their hometown to a lot full of cars that honked their horns for applause, and over at ForbesCarlie Porterfield wrote that in Schüttorf a techno DJ called Devin Wild performed similarly.

D.U. and many of our musician friends are naturally wondering when they’re going to be able to properly rehearse again, let alone play gigs, in the age of COVID-19, but at least some folks have got the latter figured out!
