“End on End” podcast deep-dives into Dischord Records

The ground is thick with podcasts these days, but a notable one is End on End, which digs deep into the Dischord Records catalog and related projects. Fans of punk, hardcore, and D.C. music, take note.

There’s plenty info on the podcast over at No Echo, where Mike Musilli interviewed the podcast’s creator. But a browse at the podcast website also shows how great the content looks: episodes on Teen Idles, S.O.A., Minor Threat, Government Issue, Necros, Youth Brigade, SS Decontrol, the Faith/Void split, Iron Cross, Scream, and the list goes on.

The podcast bills itself as “a podcore journey through the entire Dischord catalog,” and that sounds good to us.

  1. I’m digging this podcast and the latest episode about Fugazi IOTK is great. I’m in that subset of Fugazi fans who think Killtaker, Red Medicine, and End Hits are about the best rock music of the 90s. It’s terrific to hear from Ted Nicely. Fugazi had a rare magic chemistry. Joe is a beast, Ian is a genius, and besides the band stopping, it’s also some kind of loss that Brendan and Guy stopped making music together. But ok, the four did enough amazing work as is. Cheers to all.
