At the end of a show Crawler played in Washington, D.C. recently, guitarist Justin Loys handed D.U. a copy of the band’s Womb LP.
The record features Gary Fry of Musket Hawk (we’ve written about that band more than once) on vocals and Loys comes from Mind As Prison (check out our MAP coverage). Musically there’s blast beats, screamed vocals, feedback, and even some emo parts with clean guitars and strings.
With an updated rhythm section, the band is working on its next album. While we await news on that, you can pick up Womb on CD or digital from HPGD and on LP or digital from Money Fire.
