The influential and impactful musician Brian Eno founded and is the trustee of EarthPercent, an organization that aims to raise $100 million through small income pledges from artists and music-related entities by 2030 and invest the money in efforts to combat climate change. The funds are directed towards grantmaking, and this includes trying to improve the environmental impact of the music industry.
The organization is raising money with a Bandcamp page featuring a bunch of previously unreleased tracks from a lot of groups, including Death Cab For Cutie, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Peter Gabriel, JoyCut, and of course Brian Eno.
