The last time D.U. made a “mixtape” it was on CD-R format. That’s not generally associated with mixtapes, because there’s more craft and art involved in making one on cassette. That’s what the documentary Analog Love: The Art of the Mixtape digs into: the process and message when a person makes a mixtape for themselves or, more meaningfully, for someone else.

Looks like it’ll be a fun viewing. It’s coming out on video on demand and Blu-ray (the latter featuring a bunch of extras) on August 17, 2021 from Passion River and is up for preorder now.
