The longstanding Japanese grindcore band Unholy Grave has announced that bassist Yasu (Yasutaka Kajihara) is fighting stage 4 esophageal cancer. This follows Yasu providing details last month on Facebook.
We last reported on personal news with Unholy Grave when the band’s drummer Hee-Chung passed away. D.U. hopes Yasu has a speedy recovery.
Recent music news from Unholy Grave is the band’s announcement last month that it’s launched a Bandcamp page. So far it only has two releases posted. We say “only” because Unholy Grave is one of those bands that has more splits, compilation appearances, and stand-alone releases under its belt than one can easily count.
