Executive producers John Varvatos and Iggy Pop have run the last episode of the four-parter TV documentary PUNK on Epix. As the show’s description says, “PUNK explores the music, the fashion, the art and the DIY attitude of a subculture of self-described misfits and outcasts.” That’s a fair description, and PUNK accomplishes that through lots of interviews with the people that were there and did it. Rolling Stone was kind enough to post video of an all-punk, all-star panel that discussed the series in advance of its premiere. Henry Rollins, Duff McKagan, Johnny Rotten, Marky Ramone, and Donita Sparks went back and forth with Varvatos and a moderator. It’s good stuff.
