Die-hard Unleashed fans should be happy to know (and raise the hammer) that a new compilation came out earlier this year that contains all of the band’s old recordings before the Swedes signed to Century Media and started putting out albums in 1991.
Before the Creation of Time contains full demo tracks and compilation tracks, which means in this case that a few songs appear more than once, so you’re not getting 13 different songs in the 13 tracks. Still, there’s bang for the buck with the album’s included ‘zine clippings from the period and an exclusive interview with bandleader Johnny Hedlund.
It’s on Darkness Shall Rise Productions on CD and white and black vinyl (to match the palette of the compilation). If you’re wondering about the quality of the album, the whole thing is streaming on YouTube. Here it is below.
