Black Tusk is hitting the road to promote “The Way Forward”

Black Tusk bandmembers

When I was hanging at the Season of Mist merch tent at Maryland Deathfest this year, the folks working the tent were kind enough to hand me a CD of the new Black Tusk record, The Way Forward. Come to find out, this drop-tuned, hard-rocking Savannah metal band is hitting the open road next month in support of the album. Tour dates and tour poster are below.

The band released a well-done video for the track “Dance on Your Grave,” which I appreciate because it shows the group’s sense of humor. The guys are able to do that without being too silly, which can take away from the rock.

Another music video is for “Breath of Life,” below. It’s of low quality and effectiveness and, as is often the case with music videos these days, the band isn’t in it.

The Way Forward is out now on CD, LP, and digital. I recommend getting it, which you can do from Season of Mist.
