The Mongoblaster “Legless and Wild” review

The guys in The Mongoblaster make up a silly, immature grindcore band, and Legless and Wild, their first album, is a fun listen. And if the title is a homage to Accept, so much the better. There’s a bonus of a cover of “Ghostbusters,” complete with blast beats. (Who you gonna call? Mongobusters!)

They present themselves as a four-piece with a drummer, but it kind of sounds like they use a drum machine. And D.U. is not one to criticize a band for that.

Mongoblaster is out to drink and play grind. Check out how they do it at the Internet Archive. The band and the label Torn Flesh Records put up this 12-song recording for free.
