Inter Arma: show review and tour dates

Inter Arma from Richmond, VA kicked off their tour with Woe by supporting Gorguts, and they’re continuing on for a couple weeks. Tour dates are below.

Good times were had on the first date of the tour. Locals Acid Deth Kvlt opened the show, who differentiated themselves with a sax player, followed by March to Victory, who showed off their tightness and solid riffs, musicianship and vocals. Inter Arma took it up a level with great sound and crushing, dynamic black metal, sans costumes/makeup. The band’s latest for Relapse is Sky Burial and judging by their set, it’s worth looking into. A couple of photos from their set:

And finally Gorguts, also on tour, blew everyone away, playing older songs and tracks off their awesome new album Colored Sands, out on Season of Mist, which continues with their avant garde way of tech death. Frontman Luc Lemay and his crew made everyone happy with his attitude, and the crowd demanded and received an encore. Watch a song from their set right here.
